5G ultra-low latency is the future of multiplayer Augmented Reality gaming!
This wacky multiplayer game celebrates the fun and true potential of 5G AR gaming! Work together as a team to catch friendly blobby creatures, lasso them with your laser and then collide multiple creatures together to create a mega-blob! Once your blob is big enough you can consume the other team's blob!
Using a combination of 5G and AWS Wavelength technology, ultra-low-latency gameplay is achieved. Up to 20 players can join this shared AR experience to battle it out with laser lassos shooting out from their mobile devices. This means you can see all your friends and opponents catching, colliding and consuming blobs in real time with no delays.
Cosmosis floor mats were fabricated as the entry point into the experience. These durable mats can be rolled up and transported to new locations, making it very easy to set up a new multiplayer game of Cosmosis anywhere. Their secondary function is to act as image targets, helping to localise the game play and keep the AR tracking in sync.

Cosmosis requires a simple, one-time setup of the multiplayer game to match the space, known as Level Mapping. If the space changes over time, Level Mapping can also be easily updated. Using the floor mats as an AR anchor, a level boundary can be drawn on the floor in which the action takes place.
